I have spent over 30 years inside some of the most complex IT environments in the world. The mainframe was always at the center.

I started as a systems programmer and grew into enterprise architecture — working across banking, government, and large-scale industry. For years I was an Executive IT Architect at IBM, advising global accounts on their most critical platform decisions.

In 2016 I founded Seneqa to do this work independently. Today I advise Lead Architects and Executives on mainframe modernization and enterprise transformation, and I train the next generation of architects who need to understand this technology for real.

I also wrote the book I wish had existed when I started. Don’t Be Afraid of the Mainframe is a practical introduction for IT leaders and professionals who need clarity, not mythology.
